천계의 신관들이 함부로 발을 들일 수 없는 영역 귀계, 그곳에서도 가장 번화하고 위험한 곳 귀시장, 그곳의 주인 '혈우탐화' 화성, 그리고 그곳과 관련된 괴이한 사건 하나. 여기까지 듣게 된 사련은 주저 없이 말했다. "제가 가겠습니다."

인륜을 저버린 추악한 거래가 횡행하는 귀시장의 도박장. 이를 보다 못한 동방의 무신 낭천추가 섣불리 나서다 꼼짝없이 화성에게 제압당하고… 그를 구하기 위해 불운의 상징 사련이 화성을 상대로 자신의 운을 시험해 보기로 한다.

여군산에서 만난 떠돌이 소년이 귀시장에 숨어 있었다? 사련은 필사적으로 소년의 뒤를 쫓던 중, 화성의 초대를 받아 그의 처소인 극락방으로 향하게 되고, 그곳에 당도한 사련은 수상한 낌새를 눈치채는데…

A masked ghost leads Xie Lian to the Paradise Manor, where Hua Cheng is waiting for him. Later on, Xie Lian meets the bandaged boy from Yu Jun Mountain again and recalls a similar boy he met eight hundred years ago.

사련이 걱정된 나머지 극락방으로 잠입한 사청현은, 사련과 합류해 극락방의 수상한 비밀 공간을 탐색하기로 한다. 화성은 자신이 초대한 사람은 극진히 대접했지만, 초대받지 못한 자들은 조금 더 특별하게 맞이했다.

사련 일행은 천계로 복귀하던 중 뜻하지 않게 화성과 다시 마주치고, 일촉즉발의 대치 상황에 놓이게 되는데… 방심한 사이 어느덧 갈등의 불씨가 귀시장을 넘어 천계까지 뒤덮을 화염으로 번지고 있었다.

낭천추와 사련, 두 태자에 얽힌 과거의 비밀이 조금씩 드 진상을 드러내고, 사태를 진정시키기 위해 군오는 사련을 당분간 선락궁에 구금시킨다. 그러자, 선락궁에 초대받지 않은 손님들이 찾아오는데…

화성이 느닷없이 상천정에 나타나 사련을 데리고 사라지자, 눈앞에서 그를 놓친 풍신과 모정은 사청현의 조언에 따라 주사위를 던져 뒤쫓기로 한다. 하지만, 두 사람 역시 썩 운이 좋은 편은 아니었다.
