Texas Rising

General Santa Anna (Olivier Martinez, "S.W.A.T.") revels in his victory at the Alamo while Texan General Samuel Houston (Bill Paxton) remains unaware of the disastrous defeat. Lorca (Ray Liotta), the sole survivor of the battle, begins to plot his revenge.

With the help of Deaf (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and his Rangers, Emily West (Cynthia Addai-Robinson, "The Accountant") reaches General Houston to warn him of General Santa Anna's plans. Meanwhile, the leader of the Comanches aims to use the Texas uprising to his advantage.

The indecisive Colonel Fannin makes a fatal error and Santa Anna's troops surround the embattled Texans. The desperate colonel tries to make a deal, but Santa Anna has other plans in mind for his new captives.

When the Comanches unleash a brutal attack on James Wykoff's land, a desperate Empresario Buckley enlists the aid of Jack Hays and Bigfoot Wallace to defend the town.

Houston struggles to control insubordinate officers on the eve of battle, but an overconfident General Santa Anna makes a critical error.

Texan commanders argue over what to do with the captured General Santa Anna. An ailing Deaf disobeys General Houston's orders and rides out on what could be his final mission: to rescue Emily West.

The Rangers launch a daring rescue. Back at the Wykoff homestead, Pauline Wykoff publicly accuses Empresario Buckley of knowingly selling her family contested land.

Houston intervenes to secure Pauline and Emily's futures. Meanwhile, negotiations between Santa Anna and Andrew Jackson offer hope for lasting peace.
