Seaside Hotel

Mrs Frigh arrives at the beach hotel with her daughter Bertha, concealing a secret love affair. Everything seems peaceful until Weyse's two sons come into conflict with some bathing German soldiers.

The Weyses realise that their youngest son is in big trouble and do their best to help him. Molin returns from Berlin with a tempting offer for Madsen, while Johan continues to court Mrs Frigh.

Weyse must learn to sing in German or else the hotel will be confiscated by the Germans. Madsen is close to agreeing to Aalborg Airport’s expansion.

Lydia calls for a joint singing session to strengthen the Danish people's souls further. At the same time, Morten tries to figure out who is helping the Germans with the airport's expansion.

Weyse is relieved after his latest blackout, but his joy is short-lived. Morten seeks more information from the British and asks Ane to snoop on Madsen's room. Johan returns from Copenhagen with a surprising story.
