Momo believes in ghosts. Okarun believes in aliens. To make each other believe in what the other denies, they respectively head to a spot famous for UFO sightings and a paranormal hotspot.

Momo's psychic powers awaken, while Okarun is cursed by Turbo Granny. They try to take refuge at Momo's house, but a giant alien appears before them.

Okarun is saved from a tough spot by Momo's grandmother Seiko. Okarun must now play tag with Turbo Granny to lift his curse.

Momo and Okarun succeed in capturing Turbo Granny in their game of tag. However, a location-bound spirit in the shape of a crab comes after them.

Victorious against Turbo Granny, Momo and Okarun can go back to their peaceful lives, but for some reason Okarun's "thingie" hasn't returned...

Their classmate Aira had one of the missing golden balls. Aira can now see "invisible things" - perhaps an effect of the ball?

Momo and Okarun manage to pull Acrobatic Silky away from Aira. However, Aira has already passed away...

The battle against Acrobatic Silky is over, and the three briefly go back to normal school life before Serpoians show up again.

Aira has awakened Acrobatic Silky's powers within her. She joins the battle against the aliens together with Momo and Okarun.

Momo, Okarun, and Aira make it through the aliens' assault by combining their powers. However, one of the aliens that was supposedly defeated appears before them...

Momo's childhood friend, Jiji, appears and begins living in Momo's house. Jiji has been worrying about apparitions in the house he moved into. Okarun is clearly disturbed hearing that Jiji is Momo's first love and tries to distance himself from Momo.

Momo and Okarun head to Jiji's house in a hot springs district to investigate the case of Jiji's family. Okarun feels gloomy looking at how close Momo and Jiji are. Arriving at Jiji's house, there are several shadows watching them as they enter...
