Remington Steele

Laura has been hired to protect over two million dollars worth of jewels being delivered to car designer Gordon Hunter for a media event. However, various other individuals have designs on the jewels, including a handsome, mysterious stranger who keeps changing identities.

When the "fool-proof" system fails to prevent a robbery, a friend of Remington's is killed. Furthermore, Laura and Remington are faced with a ten million dollar lawsuit that will destroy their agency and careers unless they manage to solve the case.

Private eye Laura Holt grudgingly accepts a new partner when a mystery man assumes the identity of her fictitious boss, Remington Steele. Together, the two battle crime, as well their feelings for each other.

When Laura tries to get word to his fiance that he is safe, Quarry's life becomes even more endangered.

When an attempt is made to steal the expensive painting from a museum, Remington once again is opposed. Laura has second thoughts, however when assistant curator Katherine Simone makes a brazen play for Remington.

At a party for a sulty, best-selling author Constance Knight, Laura and Remington are approached by her intoxicated and terrified husband Mitchell. He tells them he has read his wife's new manuscript and that he fears for his life. Moments later, he falls to his death from a balcony.

Mike Ito does not believe that his brother, Kenji, who has just arrived from Japan, died accidentally on his way from the airport. He suspects murder and hires Laura and Remington to find the killer.

Alan Grievey, flamboyant and highly successful private investigator, invites former associates to his mansion for a lavish reunion. When he is found dead of a broken neck, they decide investigate each other.

When a prospective client commits suicide, Laura and Remington become suspicious and decide to find out who or what drove the man to desperation.

Faded star Veronica, who always prided herself on her unusual death scenes, is more interested now in making a professional comeback than being murdered. Remington, a movie buff, is enchanted with the actress but Laura suspects she is senile.

Remington is surprised to be named honorary chairman of a charity that seeks to save the bald eagle, unaware of its ulterior motive: he is suspected of possessing a report that was prepared by a member of the charity who has been murdered.

When things get out of hand at the hospital, Dr. Lindstrom asks for help from Remington and Laura. Remington poses as a patient, Laura as a physician. Remington registers as an insomniac since suspicion centers on a sleep study unit whose patients have trouble either falling asleep or staying awake.

Malcolm Marcall hires the couple to find out who is trying to kill him without upsetting his wife, Loretta. Remington and Laura pose as Bob and Judy Pepper, a couple about to divorce, and soon discover the existence of four unhappy divorcees, each with a motive and a method for the murder.

Jewelry store owner Albert Harrod hired Laura to find the missing jewel before he gets in trouble with a Middle Eastern prince who has already paid for it. Meanwhile, Morrie Singer asks Remington to find the jewel which he had planned to steal. He's afraid of Mr. Considine, an underworld figure who had advanced him money to pull off the heist.

Annie Carpenter, a flower-child holdover from the '60s, is upset about a missing friend, and Murphy, looking into the matter, finds that he has a murder on his hands. Laura and Remington join him in the investigation, which leads to a campus ghost and alumni who, years ago, were involved in radical campus politics.

Evidence of the apparent murder points to the artist's young, handsome husband, Teddy, who has been seeing another woman, Marion Travis. Teddy hires private eye Leo Blitzman to determine if Marion was involved, and she in turn hires Laura and Remington to establish Teddy's influence.

A television station hires Laura and Remington to investigate threats and sabotage directed at the new, jazzed-up, happy-talk news team. The station is getting top ratings since the format change from serious news to happy talk, fun, glamour and youth, but station manager Ed Greene wants to know who is behind the increasingly serious threats they are receiving.

Wilson Jeffries, am ambitious banker, is eager to help young wine-maker Claude Vandermeer finance a loan for his winery. Complications arise in the form of a body floating in one of the vats, and the body soon becomes a roving corpse that keeps appearing and disappearing. Claude's problems are complicated by his domineering mother, owner of the estate, who holds her son in low esteem.

The search for the treasure and the murderer takes Laura, Remington and Murphy from a high-tech computer center to a western honky-tonk saloon and a camping trip by burro into the mountains.

Daniel Chalmers, a charming con man, gets reacquainted with his protege, Remington Steele, when the two plan a sting operation against Albert Hoskins, a crooked casino owner who has murdered Chalmers' associate. Meantime, Hoskins hires Laura Holt to find Chalmers, claiming that he owes him money, actually, he is planning to kill Chalmers.

Remington learns of the missing money when he stops bank agent Alfred Mullens from jumping off an overpass to his death. Mullens, it seems, had 'borrowed' the money, which disappeared before he could do anything about it.
