Pushcart vendor Calogero has entered the witness protection program after testifying against a mafia killer he saw murder a man in Sicily. Provided a new identity, he is sent to Sauris, a tiny village nestled in the Italian Alps. Unfortunately, snow and Schuhplattler folk dances do not suit him, but that's not even his biggest problem. The killer that he testified against is now his new neighbor.
