Annakodi is a Tamil melodrama directed by National Award winning Director Bharathiraja. A village centric love story set in bygone era. Kodiveeran belongs to lower caste, who falls in love with the neighboring village belle, Annakodi. Sadayan is the atrocious son of the village moneylender and has likeness for Annokodi too. Sadly, the fate of helpless lovers is destined by the caste and creed.
