Uprooted

In 1986, everything changes for a family in Silver Spring, MD, when their son Keith Warren, a 19-year-old Black man, is found hanging from a tree. As facts are discovered surrounding his death, they realize that many pieces of the story are not adding up.

Details about Keith's case continue to unfold as photos from the scene mysteriously emerge, leaving the family with questions about who may have been involved in his death and why they may have been trying to cover up what really happened.

As the Warren family seeks closure in the aftermath of Keith's death, Sherri Warren picks up the mantle from her mother to find justice. She encounters more walls within the justice system as she tries to get Keith's death certificate changed.
