Al's Fish'n With Mates

Back in the USA Al teams up with his old mates Moe and Eric, heading into the Louisiana bayous in pursuit of big Bull Reds! The competition is on and Al learns the art of 'popping corks' as well as hooking into the biggest bull reds he has ever seen.

Al and the crew are in Western Australia, heading 70 miles offshore to the remote and untouched Montebellos. Despite the Montes' dark history, rumours of spectacular sportfishing turn out to be true with insane action on everything from arm stretching trevally to world class sail fishing. And of course, Al takes it one step further jumping in to swim with the sailies in the middle of the ocean!

Al goes back to his roots, heading down to Victoria to confirm rumours of the return of the kingfish. After years of absence the boys discover the kings are back in force and ready to play ball. However, catching one for dinner proves to be the real mission!

Huge Barra surrounded by jungle, just minutes from Cairns in far North Queensland... sounds too good to be true, but Al discovers that Copperlode Dam tucked away in the Hinterland is one of the best kept secrets around.

Al catches up with his good mate Carter Andrews in the USA to see what all the fuss is about with the offshore fishing in Florida. There is variety galore, and Al gets in on some high-speed Mackerel action.

Al decides Eaglehawk Neck in Tasmania is just the place to take competition winners Pete and Nigel to try and hook a barrel. Fishing under some of the biggest sea cliffs in the southern hemisphere and battling the weather the boys have a ball, scoring a few surprising catches along the way as well as some amazing tuna.

The Australian Outback is home to one of the biggest freshwater fish in the world, the Murray Cod. Al heads to the spectacular Lake Mulwala with plans of big cod but gets distracted by the natural beauty, the locals and some seriously wild weather.

Exmouth is a long way from anywhere as Al quickly discovered on a recent road trip up the West Australian coast. The effort was well worth it with scenic spots and waters rich in life. Once there Al explores the inshore waters with the Halco crew testing lures and swimming with giant Manta Rays.
