Deep in the woods, an amateur camper stumbles into a kidnapping in progress. As he attempts to free the victim, he's chased off by one of the kidnappers, and finds himself lost in the woods with only the victim's phone for clues. Like Cop Car or Rashomon or Memento, 3 Day Weekend is a dense puzzle, told without dialogue and unresolved until the film's final shot. Every mess starts with a plan.
