Lucinda "Luce" Price is a 17-year-old girl who seems to live a normal life until she is accused of a crime she did not commit. Sent to the strict Sword & Cross reform school, Luce finds herself being courted by two boys, to whom she feels inexplicably connected. Haunted by strange visions, she learns that the two are fallen angels who have been vying for her love for centuries.
