LAPD homicide detective, John Gillis, takes a leave of absence to cope with the loss of his wife, Rhiannon. While on bereavement leave he conducts his own, unauthorized investigation into the tragedy. Struggling to cope, John isolates himself in his own home, obsessing over the details of her death.
