Highly dysfunctional part-time punk singer Irene McCabey’s life in Austin is crumbling around her when she learns that she has inherited a dilapidated house in Pittsburgh from her estranged grandmother. Enlisting her long-lost cousin to assist in a drunken renovation project, Irene soon must choose between the potential for a quiet life and her natural tendencies towards self-destruction.
