Bob Hoskins plays George, a petty criminal recently released from prison who can't seem to get a job, let alone make amends with his family. But when his old boss (Michael Caine) offers him the chance to chauffeur a high-class prostitute named Simone (Cathy Tyson), George is unable to refuse.
