Penelope

It's time for the family Christmas party. Penelope helps her father to decorate the rooms. What would be the perfect decorations on the Christmas tree for Penelope's twin cousins Milo and Madeleine? Matching ornaments! What about for grandfather and grandmother? Stuffed animal and hat that they gave Penelope as a gift! Penelope's mother prepares a roast beef and a beautiful cake.

The party has begun. Everyone's enjoying good food. Penelope and her cousins excitingly open the presents. A tricycle! A toy plane, picture book, and stuffed animal! A maracas! Penelope gets something yellow and black-striped. Is it a tiger? A snake? No, it's a honeybee costume! She puts it on and starts to buzz. Penelope, the honeybee!

Penelope comes out of the house to go meet with Cesarine. Mom helps Penelope, who shivers in a cold wind, to zip up her coat. In the car, she closes the bottle cap after spilling water. While drawing with Cesarine, her pens and caps lie around everywhere so they close the caps. Penelope goes to a toilet at bedtime, but the door is wide open!

After learning about shapes at the kindergarten, Penelope practices them at home. Which one is round? Is it a cat? No, cat is not always round. It's a mirror on the wall! Which one is square? Is it a sofa or fish bowl? It's a cage for the pet hamster! Which one is triangle? Is it a tomato or flower? No, it's a tent! At the end, Penelope and her cousins review shapes with chocolate biscuits.

Penelope starts to daydream after being told by her mom not to draw on a wall and to be quiet in the early morning. Let's draw on the wall behind the curtain! How about drawing on a floor or sofa? Let's also turn the clock back and forward including mom & dad's alarm clock! Putting the earplugs into their ears will be a great idea, too! How impish she is, but it's only her naughty dream.

Penelope is told to leave Doudou at home when going for a walk but she secretly plans to take Doudou with her. Putting it in the knit cap, sweater or pants' pocket will be great ideas! At the moment she tries to put Doudou in a pocket, mom comes by so she fails. On the road, she finds a puddle and jumps in. Her parents come and hold her hand, so she will not get wet and muddy.

Her mom tells Penelope to brush her teeth, take a bath and be ready for bed, but she wants to eat a lollipop. She imagines of switching the toothbrush with lollipop and rinsing water with orange juice. When she opens the refrigerator to get the orange juice, her mom comes by. Mission fails! She also imagines to put lots of soap and dive into the bath so she can fly to the sky with the bubbles.

Penelope wants to befriend with birds and plans to make a birdhouse. What is the birdhouse like? What is it made from? Is it a cardboard or tin can? She puts some fabric scraps into her dad's shoe but birds are not coming so she asks her dad to make a birdhouse with a fluffy bed, swing, and a merry-go-round! The birdhouse dad made is simpler, but the birds seem to like their new home.

It's Penelope's birthday. Her dad is baking a chocolate cake and her mom is preparing a nice meal for her birthday party and helping Penelope to put a special dress. Many of her friends come to celebrate, and she receives lots of nice presents. She even receives a call from her uncle in Egypt and a letter from her aunt in North Pole. Let's sing a birthday songs together and make a wish!

Penelope makes a snowman on the yard with her friends. They then go to skating. Cesarine and her dad skate well. Penelope jumps out to the ice skate rink but slips. With a help from Cesarine, she starts to skate little by little. Lili-Rose skates gracefully, but Stromboli slips up like Penelope and spins. Aladin cannot take his hand off the bar but finally stands by himself!

Penelope is visiting grandpa's farm. He asks her to name the piglets which are about to be born. What will be the best names for the piglets? "Flitter!" Well, pigs do not flitter like a butterfly. "Quack!" Well, pigs do not quack. Then she sees a field of dandelions. How pretty and beautiful they are! "Dandelion" will be a perfect name for a little pig and "Puffball," too!

When Penelope is having a nightmare, her dad gives her an old book and sings a song to have a good dream. In her dream, with the help of charms, Penelope and her friends become pretty butterflies and color white flowers with paintbrush. Then she enters to the ice world where Cesarine and penguins are playing. After that, she enters a forest on a mammoth as the queen of the jungle.

It's almost Halloween. There are so many costumes to choose from, and Penelope chooses to be a witch. With the hand-me-down witch hat and cape from mom and a small bloom, she excitingly jumps around. On the Halloween day, everyone comes to the kindergarten with their special costume; Aladin as mummy, Stromboli as ghost, Cesarine as fairy, and Lili-Rose as the Jack-O-Lantern

Penelope and her friends are on a field trip to a museum. They are captivated by fine art, and decide to make their own museum. At the kindergarten, Penelope makes a giraffe with clay. Cesarine and Lili-Rose paints a boat and red apples. Aladin makes armor with cardboard. Stromboli makes a pyramid with wood block, but falls apart. Penelope's giraffe does not stand because of its big head!

What do you do on a sunny day? Penelope dashes across the field with a dog and catches a ladybug. On a windy day, she spins a windmill and flies a kite with her dad. On rainy day, she looks outside from the living room. The spider web looks pretty with raindrops, and there are snails on a leaf. Penelope pretends to be a snail by putting a round tin can on her back. She enjoys drawing, too.

Penelope finds a trumpet on a table and start practicing. She can only hit "Do" but enjoys playing. One Sunday, Penelope's family get together to have a concert. Her cousin Merlin, Milo and Madeleine play recorder, and xylophone. Aunt Marie-Christine plays flute, and Uncle Nicholas plays violin. Her mom plays the piano, and dad plays the cello.

Penelope learns how to fish from her grandpa at the lake. She is amazed by the way he observes the bobber carefully and catches fish. While he falls asleep, she accidently knocks over a bucket and releases the fish so she decides to catch a fish by herself. Although she imagines catching many fishes, the bobber does not move one bit. At last, her fishing rod is pulled strongly.

It's fall harvesting time at grandpa's farm. Lots of crops are on the table such as potatoes, pears, chestnuts, and pumpkin! Grandpa asks Penelope to pick grapes but she does not know where the grapes come from so she pulls the green leaves on the ground. Well, a carrot comes out instead! They compete on who pick more grapes. By the end of the day, there's a party with pie and fresh juice.

Penelope decides to deliver mom's homemade chocolate cookies to grandparents by herself. It is her first errand! She bravely leaves the house, but her worried parents are secretly following her! Her journey is fine till she starts following a flying balloon then line of ants. She gets lost! With the help of Lili-Rose and her mom, she finds her way, but forgets the cookies!

Penelope offers to help her dad planting the flowers. What can she do? He asks her to go to the barn to pick up his black garden gloves. She is so proud of herself being a big helper. A search in the barn is fun. She finds interesting items like fins for swimming, a totem pole...and a scooter! She finally brings a pair of gloves, but dad sure needs a pair too!

At the kindergarten, a teacher tells children to take care and not to catch cold. Penelope wonders what catching a cold is. On the same day, however, she plays in the rain and gets fever. She finds out that the cold medicine is sweet and tasty, and she can be up and around even with fever. Then her cheeks turns red, and she slumps dizzily. Now she knows about the cold!

Penelope is going out with her parents. There are different kinds of shop to see; an ice cream shop, a hat shop, and a toy store! It's fun to look around and play with toys. While walking around, they have fun finding different colors on the street. What color does Penelope like? It's green, the color of the menu board at café! After a nice meal, they realize that Doudou is missing.

Penelope exchanges letters with her grandpa. He seems to be enjoying surfing, playing the guitar and picking seashells by the sea. Penelope sends him the drawings of her playing with a cat and jumping in a puddle, which makes grandpa smile. Several days later, Penelope is waiting for his letter, but the postman just passes her home. When she sadly sighs, the doorbell rings. Who could it be?

At the kindergarten, Penelope and her friends wonder what they want to be when they grow up. Stromboli wants to be a #1 soccer player. Cesarine wants to be an art teacher. Lili-Rose wants to be the princess of a flower land. Aladin wants to marry his teacher! What does Penelope want to be? She wants to be a wizard and fly! She also wants to be a pirate that hunts for treasures.

While Penelope family is on a summer vacation at plateau, she meets a boy fox, Ulysee and his little sister Alice. They instantly become friends. He asks her to find his treasure that he hid. What would it be? He gives her some clues. "It stretches in and out and sparkles. It's in a red box. Is it a caterpillar? Is it a puddle? She finds a red basket, but it is their lunch!
