Police Ten 7

Taupo constables Scott McLeod and Casey Wellwood are trying to intercept a car that has been stolen earlier in the day from Wellington.

Police are called by a neighbour about suspicious behaviour in a reserve. On arrival it turns out that 2 males have got their car stuck in the mud. They have fallen asleep in the daytime and now the gates are locked.

A male offender is pulled over after he crashes into the side of a parked BMW on Ponsonby Rd. He is very intoxicated and refuses to cooperate with the police.

Officers are called to a scene at the Fanshawe street Caltex where a 17 year old offender is creating a disturbance. After head butting Constable Ben Lee and assaulting the Caltex attendant, the offender is restrained and taken back to the station.

Constable Bill Birrell is called to a fight outside the Tradewinds Tavern in Otara. 9 arrests are made. The victims were checked by the ambulance but they refused any hospital treatment.

Police head to an incident on Upper Queen Street where a female is very intoxicated and has been driving. She is taken back to the station but continues to fall asleep. Eventually a doctor is called in to complete the breath test.

It's late on Wednesday night, and constables have been called to a domestic dispute on the streets of Papakura. Fiona claims to have lost all her stuff; her boyfriend has slapped her and thrown her bag across the ground.
