With the amulet in hand, Vanessa and Lily Van Helsing escape from Elder Sam and return to the real world. As Denver falls to the Daywalkers, Hansen escorts Julius and Doc to Fort Collins.

After Violet is attacked by Daywalkers, Julius and Doc discover information that Hansen will do anything to keep quiet. Vanessa's new path draws her to help a group of survivors led by Jack.

On the road, a grieving and aimless Axel rescues an enigmatic Max who returns the favor with a job offer. Flesh and Jolene finally make it to Loveland and attempt to redeem Flesh's past.

After an epic battle, Axel reconciles with Vanessa and comes to terms with the death of Scarlett. At the Sisterhood, Elder Sam, Ivory and the Oracle come together to raise the Third Bride.

Sam and the Brides arrive at Fort Collins where Hansen reveals a long-held secret for raising the Dark One. Axel returns to Loveland where Flesh and Jolene take one last stand against Max.

In a desert infested with strange new vampires, Flesh and Axel chase a crazed Max who has Jennifer and Owen held hostage. When night falls, their chances of survival turn for the worse.

Three generations of Van Helsings come together before a final showdown with Elder Sam and the Oracle. When the portal to the Dark Realm is opened an ancient evil is released: The Dark One.

3 Pages are the key to raising or destroying the Dark One forever but only Hansen knows where they are hidden. Old alliances are broken as Violet, Jack and the Brides all search for the 3 Pages.

In a flashback to the day of the Rising, Jack and her team of archers battle against vampires that are taking over the city and while working together, Jack realizes her true potential.

Violet is captured by a sadistic ringmaster, Darius and must battle her way out of his gladiator arena with the help of Julius. Old rivalries come to a head when Ivory and Scab arrive.

Now that Violet knows where the 3 Pages are she returns to Fort Collins with Axel and Julius. Jack and Ivory must rescue Hansen at the Sisterhood Lair but plans change once they arrive.

Hansen reveals the truth of their origins to Violet and Jack. As the sisters prepare to open the portal and face the Dark One, Hansen makes the ultimate sacrifice in order to trap the Oracle.

After Violet and Jack are ejected from the portal the President and Ivory try to decipher what really happened in the Dark Realm. Axel and Julius search for the truth about Doc.
