Season 1
Amelia Sedley and Rebecca Sharp are two friends who attend a girls' boarding school. The first comes from a wealthy middle-class family, is shy, meek and knows nothing about life. The second has lost her parents. She is intelligent, charming and does everything she can to hide her humble origins, which are suspect in the eyes of London's high society. Rebecca is aware of her charms.
