Wolves (Canis Lupus). All dogs have evolved from wolves. Wolves survive in the Arctic to desert climates. They weigh up to 170 pounds, with the Grey Wolf being the largest. Their stamina allows them to reach speeds of 40 mph. Social creatures who live in packs where the male and female mate for life, they are amazing and astonishing creatures.
