The Russo-Japanese war hero, Sugimoto Saichi, is in Hokkaido offered the chance to get rich from the huge reserves of gold stolen from the Ainu people. The only clue to its whereabouts being the tattoos of 24 escaped prisoners from Abashiri Prison. Then, Sugimoto meets an Ainu girl Asirpa, whose father was killed by the man who took the gold. What will become of the get-rich-quick survival?
