Phoenix becomes lost from the rest of the party and must quickly learn to survive in the African bush. In the wilderness, he stumbles upon a giant bull elephant caught in a snare. He frees the elephant and they become fast friends, relying on one another for survival. When they discover elephant poachers have been operating in the area, they soon realize that the jungle is not the worst danger.
