The Murder Castle

By May 1893, Chicago's World's Fair is in full swing. Dr. H.H. Holmes welcomes visitors to his hotel, a block-long structure designed to lure eager, young women into his clutches. Before long, Holmes makes each mysteriously vanish, never to be seen again.

Dr. H.H. Holmes persuades Beth Bickford to work for him, and she quickly becomes suspicious. It may be too late for an escape due to hidden pipes able to pump poison gas into rooms. Later, H.H. Holmes is forced to choose between his wife and mistress.

After racking up quite a body count and debt, Dr. H.H. Holmes can no longer throw off investigators, creditors and victims' family who want answers. He resolves to leave town after swindling his associate, but the ones he leaves alive soon bring him down.
