Officer Brown pursues outlaw known as the Night Rider. Brown poses as Jim Blake and takes a job on the Rogers ranch where he discovers a secret passage from Rogers house used by the Night Rider and note written by the man himself. Brown practices his handwriting, and comes up with a plan to trap the Night Rider. Starring: Harry Carey, Elinor Fair
