Mathematician Martin (Peter Schneider) suffers a burnout and is admitted to a psychiatric ward after a breakdown. When he is released, he loses his job, leaves his girlfriend and ends up on the street. Then he meets Victor (Timur Massold), a Russian boy, the two flee into the forest together, build a hut and start a new life.
