At a film festival, directors are being killed off one by one. When George, a documentary filmmaker, decides to make a movie about the murders, the surviving filmmakers become the main suspects. As he searches for clues, George is drawn to one of the filmmakers, Rosemary (Natasha Lyonne), but when all the evidence starts pointing to her, he has to decide how far he's willing to go for his film.
