In 2016, Güneş and Serkan meet at a party and instantly fall for each other. In the present, the pair is on the brink of divorce when Serkan's son Kerem confesses that his girlfriend is pregnant - leading to an explosive argument.

At a couples therapy session, Serkan laments their communication block while Güneş accuses him of never listening -- leading their therapist to suggest an unconventional way to reconnect.

On their wedding day, Güneş and Serkan finally discuss the prospect of children while trying to retrieve Kerem from his mother. Later, Serkan struggles to support Güneş amid a complicated pregnancy.

Serkan contends with potential custody loss and unemployment. Güneş begins to feel invisible as she attempts to support her husband. Later, Güneş's frustrations with her infertility and health come to a head -- and lead to a breaking point with Serkan.

During COVID lockdown, Kerem ices out his father and stepmother until Güneş steps in. Later, in the midst of mounting fights with one another and Zeynep, Güneş and Serkan scramble to locate Kerem after dropping him off at school.

Serkan slips into depression until a family emergency jolts him back into action. Güneş feels unfulfilled despite a successful new life and career. When Kerem's girlfriend goes into labor, the former couple reunites at the hospital.
