In COWBOYS Tomislav Mršić transforms a successful Croatian musical into a dark comedy about a group of outcasts and a play at the local theater. Partly social drama, partly farce, partly popcorn cinema, COWBOYS first became a hit at the box office then was chosen as Croatia's official entry for best foreign language film at the 87th Academy Awards.
