An outstanding athlete, caught between personal fulfillment and public expectation, in search of her own path. In 2008, at the age of 17, the all-round skier Lara Gut was the youngest ever winner of a Super-G World Cup race. In the 2016/17 racing season, she had good prospects of winning another medal, but she crashed the finish in St. Moritz and suffered a career-threatening injury.
