All The Sins

Young detective Lauri Raiha is assigned to investigate two murders in his childhood home Varjakka, in northern Finland, with his hedonistic, senior partner, Sanna Tervo.

While the townspeople search for a missing father, both Lauri and Sanna find themselves battling their own ghosts from the past, and the mood in the town suddenly turns tense.

Lauri makes a breakthrough in the case and consoles a shell-shocked Sanna. Violence mounts while the local religious community grieves.

Lauri and Sanna deliver sad news as the killer diverts attention. A surprise visitor brings hope of change to Lauri, but a strange accident by the sea brings the media to Varjakka.

Lauri journeys into the past as a rift grows between the detectives. Are there in fact two killers, fighting a common enemy?

The religious community is assembled, and Lauri’s old, deeply hidden scars are brought back to the surface. Sanna has to re-live a past trauma. Is forgiveness possible?
