Initially taking place in 1989, the plot features two tweens (David and Layla) bonded by their love of Hombres G who meet again 25 years later. For Layla, things couldn't have gone better as an internationally successful filmmaker; but for David, things haven’t gone well at all. Layla is back in town and they will both spend a week together fighting to hang on to their first love.
