Innocent

Roxane Delage, an archeology professor in Marseille, wakes up naked and distraught next to the corpse of a murdered man in the living room of a house where she had come to evaluate a Mayan mask. She panics and runs off.

Eight years later, Roxane is free. Determined to expose the plot against her, she’s ready to do whatever it takes to prove her innocence.

Roxane asks Alexis to help investigate the Ortiz family. Hesitant at first, he grows suspicious, putting him at odds with his future in-laws.

Alexis dies from his injuries. Roxane, Inès, and Alma are devastated. For Roxane and Combas, it’s not an accident but a murder.

Roxane contacts Careco, Pablo’s rival in the election, and convinces him to help bring Pablo down by bluffing with a copy of Alexis’s letter.

Trapped, Roxane wakes up at the Ortiz estate beside a new corpse.
