In Blake Edwards' all-star romantic comedy, Burt Reynolds is David, a sculptor who is an incurable womanizer, who never met a woman he didn't love. He pays a visit to a psychiatrist, Marianna (Julie Andrews), in the hope of removing a creative block he's been experiencing; instead, he falls for her and she for him.
