Joe hits rock bottom and receives a disturbing phone call. His family's life is on the line. The answers to save them point to Africa, pulling Joe and friends towards a destiny they can't escape. A snipers scope is the first to notice their arrival.

Joe discovers a shocking revelation about Imani. Imani and the Americans band together to find answers, only to walk into a dangerous situation. A brutal showdown erupts, with Joe and the boys fighting with everything they have to get out alive.

Sipho increases the bounty on the Americans while Phylis invites Touch to a sacred place. Imani helps Joe find another hidden clue which leads them to a devastating discovery. Downtown, Leon and Cathy's relationship is tested in unexpected ways.

Touch's gun is missing and Imani's nowhere to be found. Joe and the gang race to the carnival hoping to find Imani before Sipho does. Panic erupts at the carnival when a masked figure takes a shot at Sipho and Imani's grabbed by Sipho's men.

A botched hit on Sipho, leaves Imani in the hands of kidnappers, sparking a deadly car chase as Joe goes after his sister. Phyllis helps Touch confront his demons. Not soon after apologizing to Joe and the boys is Cathy up to something sinister.

Joe and the boys are forced into the shadows, while Cathy plays a dangerous game and dares to strike a deal with the ruthless Sipho. Cathy's plans quickly unravel leaving her exposed, it turns out she's not the only one with tricks up her sleeves.

An unlikely cell mate challenges Joe's true motives, could he be cut from the same cloth as his father? Cathy's bitten more than she can chew but won't back down. Touch and Leon storm Sipho's castle to save Joe, but Imani and Phyllis are there too.
