Who Are You?

Inga returns from the USA, where she was retained as a profiler at the FBI. She persuades her uncle, the head of the police department, to take her as a consultant. Later he introduces Inga to Major Mischenko. That meeting became tense given that, just last year, the Major didn't believe her while investigating the suspicious deaths of her patients.

The next morning, the investigation team gets a new task. It turns out the actress, who came to police in the first episode was murdered. The detectives don't listen to Inga. She goes to the late actress's flat, where she meets the murderer, the victim's old friend and secret lover. He tries to kill Inga, but at the last moment, hearing the voice of an electrician, he flees.

An anonymous man tells Inga he has information about her fiancé Jerry, who disappeared in the catacombs two years ago. Inga meets with the man; Oleg follows her and saves her from a car accident. He tries to explain everything, but she assures him she's ok and the crash was accidental. The hacker who helps the department finds that the owner of the car is owned by a famous art gallery owner.

The art gallery owner tells Oleg that he lent his car to his old friend Yakovleva, who hates Inga claiming she killed her fiancé. She begins to threaten Inga. Meanwhile, the crew receives a new case. The chief of a foundation is found dead at the their warehouse. The team solves the case the next day. The murder happened by accident.

Stepanych, one of the crew's detectives, doesn't show up at work. Mischenko Stepanych's daughter has disappeared. The internal security team visits Strizhak to check Taran's report. Later Strizhak reprimands Oleg and says they must let Taran go. Shpak fights Taran and Stepanych's ex-wife suddenly appears in the midst of the conflict with the details of their daughter's disappearance.

The crew gets a new case. A politician's daughter is found dead near a riverbank. Mischenko says the girl looks exactly like Stepanych's daughter. The murderer is a photographer with psychological trauma. Inga figures out where to find Lera, and the girl is found alive. The crew finds a car with dead Yakovleva inside. In her house, the detectives find a photo book containing pictures of Inga.

Inga tells Oleg about Yan, the man who is blackmailing her. Oleg promises to find the maniac. In her car and cell phone, they find bugs installed by Yan. They decide not to touch them and give Inga a separate phone for emergency calls. Taran and Stepanych resume their work and the relationship between them improves.

A young politician is found dead. The police assume he was assassinated, though it could also be an ordinary robbery. It turns out the murderer is the victim's school friend. Her motive was to blackmail the man over his long history of criminal involvement throughout his career. Checking Yan's "presents", the detectives find no peculiar clues.

Radushnyi keeps trying to dig up dirt on Inga and her team. Trying to persuade him to leave her & her colleagues alone, she learns that someone leaked information to him. His next story is devoted to Inga. She and Oleg assume it could be Yan. They receive an anonymous call. The caller says they found something interesting at Radushnyi's flat. There they find a strangled hooker.

Inga steals a gun from her father's safe. Yan finally gives her a clue. It traces back to her school. The principal reminds her she once participated in a school play - "Show White" - in which she played the princess, and a boy, Dima, helped them choose apples for her. A year later Dima's brother committed suicide, after which his family moved to the US.

One of the police officers is found murdered. A few more people are badly injured. The victim is Oleg's classmate from the university and his ex-wife, Lisa's, brother. Lisa tries to flirt with Oleg, but he turns a blind eye to her. Inga is jealous. After a nervous breakdown, Shpak takes a few days off to rest.

Inga nearly becomes the murderer's new victim, but the cops save her at the last moment. The murderer is a man with a heavy paranoid personality disorder. The reason for the crime was an aggravation of psychosis due to not taking his medication. Oleg lets Lisa go and rethinks his feelings for Inga.

Yan decides to punish Inga for disobedience and poisons her neighbor. Oleg invites Inga for lunch and a romantic connection is sparked. Oleg summons Strizhak and demands a report on Yan. Meanwhile, a former patient, a middle-aged businessman, visits Inga. From their conversation Inga learns tha he abuses his wife. She tells him him to change his behavior and leaves.

Oleg hates to see Inga upset after hearing the information about Yan and after the conversation with her ex-patient. Meanwhile, she receives another call from Yan. He promises to come and see her saying he will "clear up" her environment. Later the crew is informed of a new case - a businessman's suicide. It turns out the man was the businessman that had visited Inga.

There is no information about the new identity of Meleshko (Yan). Morgan insists Inga must return to the US, but she refuses. Oleg and Morgan start a competition for Inga's attention and troll each other the best they can. Morgan tells Strizhak of his backup plan for ensuring Inga's security. Yan gives Inga a choice: which of her two "righteous knights" will suffer first?

Yan accuses Inga of being depraved and reminds her of her fiancé. He tells her how he made friends with Jerry through social media. Yan tells Inga to take a closer look at the gift Jerry gave her. She finds a Yin-Yang-shaped trinket. Inside is a USB stick with a video of the last minute of Jerry's life. When she watches it, Yan calls again, and Inga swears to kill him.
