They risk it all: the rock band Arikain, formed by Afghans living in Iran, dreams of performing on a stage one day. When they get the chance to play at a music festival in Bamyan province, Afghanistan, where the giant Buddha statues were destroyed by the Taliban in 2001, they are willing to risk everything. On the way to Bamyan, the band must survive many dangers.
