Salvage Hunters Classic Cars

The boys head to Staffordshire on the trail of a performance icon the Ford Capri. Having owned several in his youth Drew has a real soft spot for the Capri and he immediately falls for the one they've come to see.

VW fanatics Drew and Paul head to Somerset on the trail of a 1970s Type 3 Fastback. Although less well known than Beetles and Campervan, Type 3s have the same aircooled rear-engined lay out that Paul and Drew both love.

In Hampshire Drew and Paul uncover a rare 1960s MGC. Drew reckons with some clever restyling, this affordable English sports car could be given the look and feel of an Aston Martin for a fraction of the price. But Paul doesn't agree with every aspect.

In Potters Bar the boys are invited in to the largest private car collection in the country, to look at a charming Morris Traveller. While Paul worries about repairs to the car's wooden frame, Drew devises a bespoke look for the car.

In rural Devon the boys fall for the Gallic charm of a Renault 4. Drew adores the chic simplicity of the design and a test drive has both him and Paul grinning from ear to ear. But the car is a rare limited edition model.
