After evidence against their first suspect falls apart, the Boston Police Department continues its aggressive targeting of Black neighborhoods, eventually leading to a local man with an extensive record named William Bennett.

Two months after the murder, a shocking twist leads to surprising revelations from Chuck's brother. As errors in the investigation come to light, the Black community responds in anger to the prejudicial manhunt and the media's handling of the story.
