Hell's Kitchen (U.S.) - Censored

Tyrannical chef Gordon Ramsay returns for a third summer to tutor and torture aspiring chefs. The winner will receive a job as head chef at the Green Valley Ranch resort and spa in Henderson, Nevada. But the victory will be hard-won as the twelve entrants soon learn after preparing their signature dishes for Ramsay.

The two teams face off in a food-prep challenge that rewards the winning team with a chance to spend time with Chef Ramsay away from the kitchen. The losers will have to complete a nearly impossible task.

Chef Ramsay orders the ten remaining contestants to cook breakfast for visiting servicemen and women. Members of the winning team receive a day of rest and relaxation - and the losers are given kitchen patrol duty.

The fourth day tests the palates of the remaining chefs as they compete in a blindfolded taste test. The losers must accept a difficult punishment while the winners dine with Chef Ramsay.

The seven remaining chefs must purchase and prepare food for a wedding reception. The bride and groom must approve - and one presentation goes poorly. Later, a kitchen power struggle mars the dinner service.

Melissa joins the men in a competition to see which team can prepare better lobster dishes. The catch is that the teams must kill their crustaceans first. And at the evening's dinner service, one team turns in a memorable performance.

The first challenge facing the six remaining contestants? Make appetizers and entrées from leftovers. Then, the teams must craft their own menus for the evening's dinner service.

Chef Ramsay consolidates the five remaining contestants into one team, but first they must compete against one another to impress one hundred hungry high school students. The winner (and a contestant of their choice) gets a trip to the Green Valley Ranch, where this year's ultimate winner will be offered a job.

The three remaining chefs prepare gourmet versions of classic American dishes for outside judges - their mothers, who don't know whose plates they're sampling. Afterwards, the contestants get to run Hell's Kitchen during the dinner service.

The final two contestants take on a final challenge that involves more than just cooking: they must design restaurants of their own - the décor as well as the menus - and manage them.

In the season finale, tempers flare as the two contestants prepare one last dinner service at Hell's Kitchen before Chef Ramsay picks a winner.
