Hell's Kitchen (U.S.)

Sixteen chefs are introduced, split into teams of men and women and must prepare their signature dishes all in the hopes of winning a slot in one of Chef Ramsay's many restaurants.

The chefs must cook eggs four different ways. During the challenge, one chef is told to work alone but gets into trouble for getting help. The winners take a helicopter tour of L.A. while the losers must unload, gut and fillet a large tuna.

Chef Ramsay focuses on teamwork and challenges the two teams to serve lunch to members of the USC Trojans marching band. The chefs cook burgers, salads and fries. The winning team is the one that completes service first, earning themselves a day at the beach; the losers must clean a portion of the L.A. River under the supervision of a relief group.

The remaining chefs must prepare recipes using ingredients chosen for them by rolls of the dice. The winning team enjoy a thrilling day experiencing a wind tunnel while the losers are made to clean up the front of the house and then prep both kitchens for service. Chef Ramsay makes a sudden change during the evening's elimination ceremony.

The chefs must prepare dishes consisting of pork cuts and side items. Chef Ramsay surprises the contestants with the first ever Hell's Kitchen barbecue.

The remaining contestants must make meals out of five mother sauces while not reusing any of the other twenty ingredients given to them. The winning team is treated to a day at an English pub while the losers are made to clean out the ovens and then prep both kitchens for service.

For the season's seventh dinner service, Hell's Kitchen plays host to a fiftieth wedding anniversary. The chefs must update the classic dishes served at the original wedding reception of the guests of honor. The winning team enjoys a dinner at a vintage diner while the losers are stuck decorating Hell's Kitchen.

The aspiring chefs must make unique sandwiches. The winning team spend a day in California's wine country while the losers grind the peanuts that will be used in a sandwich for the next day's dinner service.

Chef Ramsay tests the remaining chefs' palates in a blind taste test. The winning team enjoy a day at Sea World while the losers unload deliveries of trout. At dinner service, the chefs must devise their own menus.

The chefs must create unique lobster dishes, which are judged by Michelin-starred chefs. The winning team enjoys a visit to a caviar house followed by a shopping spree while the losing team is made to clean the dorms then prep both kitchens for service.

The six chefs work together for the first time as one team. The chefs compete in their first individual challenge, requiring them to create dishes that not only taste good, but also look fantastic. The top two dishes are judged on taste, with the winner's dish appearing in a magazine and the winner receiving a manicure, a pedicure and a haircut.

The chefs take a trip to the supermarket and buy ten dollars worth of ingredients for their dishes. A jury of gourmands taste them and come up with prices that they would pay for them. The winner receives a poolside lunch with Jean-Philippe at the Peninsula Beverly Hills - followed by a $1,000 kitchen equipment shopping spree! The losers must do the Hell's Kitchen laundry.

The four chefs have to teach bachelors with no cooking experience how to prepare monkfish. The winner and a chosen guest get to ride on a Goodyear blimp. The losers repair Hell's Kitchen, clean up the parking lot and then prep for the dinner service.

The last four chefs taste dishes at the Savoy Grill, then must recreate one of the dishes that they just sampled. The winner of the challenge spends time with their family on a yacht while the losers must clean up the Hell's Kitchen dormitories.

In the season finale, the two chefs travel to London West Hollywood, where they must each cook five different dishes. These are then judged by five of Chef Ramsay's top chefs from his restaurants in London.
