Men Behaving Badly

Sarah has a dream about being pregnant and tells Kevin that it's time they had a discussion about their future; she says that pregnancy and all related issues seem to be off limits as topics of conversation.

Kevin suffers a blow to his ego when he learns that Sarah dated someone else when they split two years ago. Meanwhile, Jamie suffers a painful neck injury after throwing himself in front of a car to gain the sympathy of two gorgeous tire models.

Sarah convinces Kevin that he needs to buy a new bed, and she even offers to pay half on it; he reluctantly agrees, but later gets the paranoid feeling that she's plotting to move in with him and take over his life.

When Jamie is photographing some kids and accidentally gets a shot of a man jumping off a roof that a newspaper pays him a hundred dollars for, he begins monitoring the police radio frequencies in search of murders and suicides, but he doesn't find very much business.

Jamie is upset when he learns that Kevin is allowing Sarah to stay with them for three days while her apartment is being fumigated.

When the apartment gets so disgustingly dirty that Sarah says she won't come back until it's clean, the guys decide to hire someone from an agency to do the cleaning.

When Kevin drunkenly proposes to Sarah and she accepts, she tells her friend Brenda she won't go through with it but wants to see Kevin twist a little before she lets him off the hook.

When Sarah has her appendix removed Kevin finds that taking care of her can be exhausting, while Liz drops by with a healing crystal and Jamie's only interests are offering to shave her legs and trying to get a look at her scar.

Sarah isn't thrilled when Kevin tells her he's postponing their weekend ballooning trip so he can help Kevin on a photo shoot for industrial work boots; she's even less happy when Jamie reveals that they're actually going to Chicago to shoot naked women for a cologne ad--Kevin will be the spritzer.

When Jamie's Christmas plans with his family fall through, Sarah and Kevin take him with them to visit Sarah's family. Sarah's mother and brothers find Jamie charming, while Kevin can do nothing to please them and they snub him at every opportunity.

Sarah confides to Kevin that she can't stand Lana, her new supervisor, so naturally she's upset when Kevin visits her at work and suggest to Lana that she go a double date with them and Jamie.

When Brenda comments on Claudia Shiffer's butt while Kevin and Jamie are watching an exercise video, Jamie wonders if she's a lesbian, and, when her old friend Ellen shows up to stay at her apartment, he's convinced.

When Jamie meets Alice, an attractive woman with a seven-year-old son, at the video store, he tells her he has a son the same age as hers, so when they make a date to watch a video together, Jamie needs to find a kid.

Jamie's at the hospital and sees what looks to him like Sarah fooling around with one of the doctors; he hesitates, but eventually tells Kevin he thinks Sarah's being unfaithful.

Brenda is sick of Jamie and Kevin going into her apartment without permission, and when Jamie barges in on her and catches her naked, she's had it and decides she has to move.

Jamie, tired of being unemployed and broke, is forced to take a demeaning job as a Barvarian Pretzel Boy, but when he learns that he's won a photo contest with a feminist theme and a five thousand dollar prize, he immediately quits his job.

When Sarah complains to Kevin that they never spend any time with her friends, he decides to throw her a birthday party, invite all her friends and kill two birds with one stone.

To impress Brenda, Jamie is getting her name tattooed on his arm, but the process is so painful that he's getting it done one letter at a time. When Kevin discovers that Harry is living at the office, Harry confesses he's had a fight with his wife, so Kevin says Harry can stay at his and Jamie's place.

It's after midnight and Kevin and Sarah are in bed; he's frustrated, because he wants to have sex and she couldn't be less interested or cooperative.

Jamie obsesses that Brenda doesn't find him interesting while she's dating Simon who Jamie thinks must be a colossal bore.

Kevin is at a restaurant having dinner with Phil, an influential but extremely abusive client, when Phil suddenly collapses and dies.

When Bob, Kevin's boss, invites Kevin, Jamie and Sarah to be his guests for the basketball games in his skybox, they're awed by the luxurious surroundings, but when Dorothy, Bob's wife, shows up unexpectedly, Kevin has to pretend that Bob's girlfriend Vanessa is his date.
