Deshmukhs and Inamdars are neighbors. Inamdar family is controlled by Ma'saheb, a firm disciplinarian with the iron fist; whereas, Deshmukh clan is freewheeling and least bothered about what others think of them. Jayram, the man Friday of the Deshmukh household & Chameli, who works as a maid with the Inamdars, plans to bring these families together & settle their differences once and for all.
