When Les Stroud arrives in the Kalahari Desert, his car is out of gas! With water to last him four days, he sets out to survive a whole week on threadbare supplies, battling excruciating heat and the possibility of fatal dehydration!

It's a dream come true for our Survivorman, Les Stroud, when he gets to visit the deepest and darkest heart of the Ecuadorian Amazon. Already recuperating from a hip injury, Les is all set to survive a week amongst hostile tribes and dangerous animals with his trusted set of supplies: three feet of fishing line, a can of soda, a mosquito net, one match, a blowgun, a machete and a spear.

Driving a sled team of Inuit Huskies, Les Stroud journeys into the freezing scrub forests of Labrador. With the dogs getting into fights, there is a danger of getting lost in addition to the more pressing danger of death from hypothermia! Armed with a .22 rifle and a self-designed survival kit, Les sets out to survive a week during the most dangerous time of the year.

The plains of South Africa conjure up images of beauty and danger. It is here where Les Stroud lands for an arid adventure that would make even the most seasoned safari traveler sweat - and not just because of the heat.

Left in the middle of Alaska surrounded by jagged mountains and icy glaciers, Les Stroud kayaks his way into surviving the wilderness. Battling frigid waters, unpredictable weather conditions, killer whales and constantly caving glaciers, he tries to live it out with nothing on him but a multitool and a water pistol.

Depending only on his SCUBA gear and found articles, Les Stroud fends for himself and survives Cook Islands' extreme heat and cyclonic conditions. Diving amongst whales, manta rays and barracudas, he risks death and high chances of getting lost in the middle of the ocean.
