Jin Kanzaki lives with his grandfather. Together with his friends Kouga and Konoha, he assists people for a fee.

Kouga is determined to locate and catch a serial arsonist that might be linked to Jin's disappearance.

Jin wakes up and sees a monster holding the body of his foster mother, Akemi. An old man is attempting to awaken ZET within Jin by using her.
