Soon Young nearly crashes into a car on the way to school while riding her bike. Soon Young finds out she may fail her college class thanks to a cheating classmate and goes to great lengths to ensure she keeps her good grades.

Ju Ran gets scolded by the family for buying expensive bags. Kyu Jin and Joo Myung get compared by Bo Ok. Joo Myung argues that he and his father are different people.

Se Joon spots his nemesis on the street and attempts to chase him down. Joo Myung gets drunk at a bar in the city and embarrasses his family. Soon Young tries to console a troubled Se Joon.

Soon Young's mother in law is concerned that Soon Young might be pregnant. She encourages Soon Young to become pregnant if she isn't because it would make Se Joon happy.

Se Bin's mother is out of sorts and takes it out on Soon Young and her husband. Se Bin struggles with trying to care for an infant child on no sleep.

Se Bin's mother suggests that Soon Young consider adopting Dalki. Se Bin's father protest the possible adoption, saying that it would be too much to ask Sae Joon to take on.

Se Bin's mother tries to convince Sae Joon that the baby is actually Se Bin's and the baby's father left her. She tries to make Sae Joon feel guilty so he will convince Soon Young to help him raise the baby.

Soon Young begins to get excited about the prospect of a new baby. Both Sae Joon and Soon Young secretly worry about how they are going to afford to take care of a new baby in spite of their excitement.

A terrible tragedy occurs, leaving the family reeling in shock. Joo Myung becomes so distraught that he gets ill and has to be hospitalized. Grandmother refuses to leave Joo Myung's side.

Soon Young confronts Joo Myung over the phone to find out if he knew Sae Joon. Joo Myung struggles with what to do if the truth is discovered by his father.

Soon Young's mother in law scolds her for focusing so much on work and insists the spend all her time raising Dalki. Soon Young decides to sneak off and apply for a job at the school that she really wants.

Soon Young gets the job she wants, but her mother in law insists that she not take the position. Soon Young's father in law insists Soon Young take the job in spite of her mother in law's wishes.

Joo Myung has an accident in the warehouse. Soon Young discovers him and attempts to call for help. Soon Young tries to get Se Bin's attention so she can help her.

Joo Myung thanks Se Bin for saving his life after he's released from the hospital. Sparks fly between them. Soon Young tells Se Bin she got fired from her job.

Soon Young's mother in law decides it's time for Soon Young to get married again. She thinks that Soon Young cannot raise Dalki alone. Soon Young protests and Dalki walks in on the argument.

Soon Young's mother in law forces her to leave the house. She claims she can no longer look at Soon Young because it makes her think of the day her son died.

Soon Young answers Se Bin's phone and discovers that Se Bin may be secretly seeing someone. Se Bin decides to play hard to get with Joo Myung. Her mother scolds her for playing hard to get.

Joo Myung meets Se Bin at the office and decides to show her around while the office workers gossip. Joo Myung offers Se Bin a job at the company. Se Bin ignores Joo Myung's efforts to discuss Soon Young.

Soon Young's idea for the M.PU cosmetics company is chosen much to her surprise. Joo Myung is shocked to see Soon Young back at the office even after being fired. The company allows Soon Young to have her old job back, much to Joo Myung's dismay.

Se Bin is surprised to discover Soon Young working at the same office as her. Se Bin is not at all happy that Soon Young is working there. She pretends not to know who Soon Young is.

Se Bin admits to Joo Myung that she knew Soon Young from before, but she does not tell the entire truth about their past. Joo Myung questions Se Bin about the events of the night before.

Kyu Jin and Joo Myung discuss Soon Young working at the office. Joo Myung tells his father that he doesn't like Soon Young working there and that she is incompetent. Soon Young tries to be nice to her mother in law, but her efforts are in vain.

Dalki breaks a very expensive statue at the M.PU office. Everyone agrees that Soon Young should not have to pay for it with the exception of Ju Ran, who is very upset. Se Bin worries that people in the office will find out she's secretly dating Joo Myung.

Se Bin's parents walk in on Se Bin and Joo Myung embracing at the hospital. Se Bin's parents return home and speculate about the nature of Se Bin and Joo Myung's relationship.
