Jef, vacant and despondent, has a sudden breakdown at work ... in front of everyone. Realizing that Jef is in trouble, best friend Tom comes to the rescue.

Charming and funny in public, Jef takes off his mask once he is in private with girlfriend, Shelly. She recommends he see a therapist.

Prescribed Pills, Jef's life changes. Dramatically. He struggles to hold it all together as the once highs and lows of his life transform into one big high.

At the end of her tether, Shelly organises an intervention to help Jef see that he needs help. Everybody that Jef has ever met descends on his living room.

Jef commits suicide - social suicide. At his work Christmas party. In front of everyone.

Feeling free for the first time in years, Jef finally reaches out.
