Underdog custom car builder Riccardo Salatino lands a millionaire investor to fuel his ambitious technology-driven vision for the future of the automotive industry and a team is formed to meet what could be an unrealistic deadline to test his plan at SEMA's prestigious Battle Of The Builders competition.

Realizing its 1970 Chevelle design is beyond the scope of the team's metal-working ability, Blazin Rodz scrambles to find a coach builder willing to take on the challenge and meet the deadline to SEMA. Meanwhile, Riccardo ambitiously commits a large portion of his budget to two rare 1970 carbon fiber Dodge Charger bodies and chassis and 1500-hp motors to match.

The team begins work on the first of two carbon fiber 1970 Dodge Chargers. Riccardo's ideas and the budget run wild with what can be designed on the computer for the 1970 Chevelle and an early metal work mockup raises concerns of whether the project can be done in time for SEMA.

Riccardo and Scotty must account for their millions of dollars in spending and a delayed delivery threatens to foil Blazin Rodz' plan to make its industry debut with three cars at SEMA.

For the Chevelle to make the SEMA deadline, Riccardo makes a difficult decision that divides the team, and Jason's confidence is tested when he learns of an unfortunate setback and change in plans.

Work gets under way on Blazin Rodz' carbon fiber Dodge Charger and the team voices concerns to Riccardo that the Chevelle won't make the deadline for SEMA if plans don't change.

The carbon fiber Dodge Charger is prepared to ship to Florida and Riccardo makes an unpopular executive decision to give the Chevelle its best chance at winning Battle Of The Builders at SEMA.

The 2800-HP Chevelle motor is installed and the team risks catastrophic results by removing the body from the frame and having it painted in time to meet the SEMA deadline.

The Blazin Rodz Chevelle suffers major last-minute damage in a hurricane and the team must pull together to beat the clock and stand any chance of making their SEMA debut.
