After the suicide of a friend, the depressed Nelson Nagarauk goes home to his Inuit family at 69 degrees north. On his way back from an ice bear hunt, he finds a half-frozen Russian woman and takes her in. The next day, the very sick woman is taken away by a helicopter and then appears to be perfectly healthy on TV. What really happened?
