17-year-old Rosa lives in an offbeat LA beach town with her mother and her mom's lover Bruno. Bruno is a cult novelist, author of "DogShit". German millionaire Baldi also lives in this community and is after Rosa's attentions. Baldi, who's makes his money pirating author's works, is especially hated by Bruno.
