After their parents mysteriously abandon them, two African American teenage brothers are left to fend for themselves. Haunted by the abuse inflicted by their father (Cliff "Method Man" Smith), the older Daniel (Marcus Scribner) struggles to keep their lives from unraveling, while his younger brother Eli (Lonnie Chavis) grapples with the painful loss of the mother he desperately longs to see again.
