Project LSK5 is a 1978 Chevy K5 Blazer 4x4. The goal of this build is a budget-minded, street-able trail rig for our editor Carter. He has a history with this rig and decided to build it into a capable off road vehicle while still having decent road manners. We'll be doing a full modern LS drivetrain swap on this rig in the future but on this episode we'll be tackling the suspension and axles.

On this episode of Knucklehead Garage we introduce you to an all new project vehicle. That's Right, Matt bought a Jeep! This 2008 Jeep JK Unlimited was purchased at insurance auction as a not running flood vehicle. We are calling it Project Mall Crawler. Before we can build it you know we have to see what it can do. Let's put the bone stock Jeep JKU's off road capability to the Test!

On this Episode of Knucklehead Garage we attempt a Jeep Build from stock mall crawler to built rock crawler in only 6 days. There is a lot to do and not much time to do it! We plan on finishing just in time to embark on a 700 mile road trip with hardcore wheeling thrown in called the Southern Overland Adventure. Will we get it done in time? You will have to watch to find out!

Now that our 6 day marathon build is complete we are taking the project mall crawler Jeep JKU out for some off roading on the RCV Southern Overland Adventure. For day 1 we meet up in Southern Tennessee then head up to the Franklin Forest taking back roads on our way to Windrock Park for some hardcore wheeling on one of their sketchiest trails fighting last minute build gremlins all along the way.
